MEMBERSHIP

Applicants for BWN membership must meet the following criteria:

• Must have been in business for at least one year
• Must have a legitimate business location
• May NOT be a duplication of an existing member's occupation
• May NOT be a member of any other weekly networking group that conflicts with Building With Networking

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend a maximum of TWO meetings prior to submitting their Application for Membership with the required annual dues of $100.00. The $100.00 annual dues are non-refundable once an applicant has been accepted for membership. The Board reviews each application, and membership is granted by vote in a Board meeting.

Once an application for membership has been accepted, the new member is expected to:

• Attend ALL meetings. Attendance is mandatory. Members are allowed nine absences during the year. However, if three consecutive meetings are missed (unless approved Inactive Status by the Board), a letter Forewarning of Suspension Status will be mailed. If four consecutive meetings are missed, membership is automatically terminated as stated by BWN’s Bylaws.
• Provide a minimum of TWO QUALIFIED LEADS PER MONTH.
• Be an ACTIVE PARTICIPANT in each meeting.
• Attend ALL announced social functions. There are approximately two or three of these per year.
• Abide by the current BWN rules.
• Prepay meeting costs on the first Monday of each month, since we provide the meetings facility a guarantee for the quantity of meals. No refunds will be issued if a member misses a meeting. Prepaid costs are to be submitted to the Treasurer (or President) by the second Monday of the month (unless a holiday falls on that month).  Monthly Meetings costs are $64.00

Reminder letters will be sent to members who do not fulfill the leads requirement for two consecutive months. After the third month, that member will be sent a dismissal letter.
